As you are aware supermarkets are slightly overwhelmed regarding online shopping at the moment. They are working on it and employing more staff to cope so hopefully it will be easier in the coming days or weeks.
 

Annual Dinner at the Carlton Hotel

It seems so long ago now and much has happened since but we are pleased to report that our annual dinner back in November was a huge success.  We were delighted to welcome Jim Davidson OBE as our guest speaker who gave his time and efforts so generously on the evening.

Dorset councils to be merged into two authorities

We are delighted to see that a decision has been made by the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government Sajid Javid MP, to merge the Local Governments within Dorset. 

Council Tax rise of 5.99% to help meet Adult Social Care cost pressures

Residents in Bournemouth will see their Council tax rise by 5.99% in 2018/19, as the Council adopts a 2.99% general council tax increase plus a 3% Adult Social Care precept to go towards some of the additional and growing costs of providing services to older people.
