Councillor Chris Rochester

Chris is a Bournemouth boy and has lived in the area all his life.  He is a Ward Councillor in Boscombe East where he lives and is a former Mayor of Bournemouth

Eddie Coope

Edward was born and bred locally and attended St Peter’s School Southbourne and is a family man with a mature family.  Prior to establishing his own landscaping business he worked as a land surveyor and served in the Royal Artillery. He has long been involved with local issues; he was elected councillor in 2007, sits on the Hengistbury Head Advisory Panel and the Christchurch Harbour Management Board.  

Blair Crawford

Blair until 2014 was the CEO of Bournemouth YMCA and has been the driving force behind numerous community projects. The new Southbourne Youth and Family Centre serves the needs of hundreds of local families and Hope FM Community Radio is beamed into every home across Bournemouth. Blair is passionate about people particularly the most vulnerable. He represents the voluntary sector on numerous committees.Blair is a Councillor in Southbourne West Ward and is cabinet member for Adult Services.  

Alister Russell

Allister has served as a councillor for West Southbourne since 2007. He is a member of five major committees and at present is vice chair of the Adults and Communities Panel.   Allister lives in Southbourne with his family where he is well known because of the assistance and help he has given so many local residents.  

Chris Mayne

Chris is both passionate and protective of his local environment in Southbourne and says ‘ What a great place to live and work! We must continue to support the local shops.’ Fisherman’s Walk is the ‘Jewel in the Crown’ and he congratulates ‘The Friends’ for helping achieve a Green Flag award in 2010. Chris is a Ward Councillor in West Southbourne

Anne Filer

Boscombe born and bred, former Mayor Anne cares passionately about wonderful Bournemouth.  Chair of 2010’s Bi-Centenary celebrations, she has represented East Cliff & Springbourne for 12 years and really enjoys helping people resolve their problems.  Friendly and outspoken, as a Cabinet Member she believes in reducing excess Town Hall bureaucracy whilst retaining top services to residents.  

Mariam Kazem-Malaki
