A former Chairman of BECA, I have lived in Bournemouth with my family for over 35 years. I am passionate about the area and love living here. I served as a councillor for Southbourne in Bournemouth Borough Council and BCP Council for 16 years. During that time I also served as a cabinet member and leader of the Council's Conservative Group. I was Mayor of Bournemouth in 2022/23.
I am a member of the Army Benevolent Fund Committee which looks after veterans. I am involved with Help-for-Ukraine and several homeless charities, and a supporter of funding for prostate cancer.
