Tobias Ellwood has written to Bournemouth Borough Council regarding the proposed development on Green belt land near Bournemouth Hospital:

Nigel Higgins Esq.
Director of Environment & Community Services
Town Hall Annexe
St. Stephens Road
BOURNEMOUTH
BH2 6EA

I am writing to express my objection to the following proposed developments 7/2004/16450/G and 7/2004/20006/A. I understand that the period of public consultation on these plans is currently open.

My objection is based on the understanding that both proposed developments would see construction of offices and a Park and Ride scheme on designated green belt land. This would be of clear detrimental effect to what remains of Bournemouth's green belt. The area in which these developments would occur has precious little open rural space left following years of constant construction. If permission were granted what is left of this green belt land would be completely lost.

I ask you please to take these views into consideration during the consultation and planning procedure.

Yours sincerely,

Tobias Ellwood
