Bournemouth East went into the local elections defending just 7 seats out of 26. We now represent 22 seats in eight out of the nine wards in the constituency.

The people of Bournemouth voted for a change in direction. Over the last four years Bournemouth has endured over-development on an unprecedented scale, a demise in our public transport system and a fiasco over the future of the Winter Gardens.

Conservatives are ready to make major changes in the way the Town Hall is run and ensure Bournemouth remains a premier seaside resort. We will start with a new vision for our Town Centre, beginning with an upgrade of the Pavilion and the scrapping of plans to build a Super Casino.
